Originally from South Dakota, Dr. Mark Nellermoe has over 20 years of experience here in the Pacific Northwest. Mark felt that podiatry was the best option and specialty, as it allowed him to help people individually and see the impacts of treatment on his patients. Mark attended the University of South Dakota and served in the US army for several years. After settling in the Tacoma, WA he began practicing podiatry in 1993. Marks relationship with Foot and Ankle Surgical Associates started before he even opened his own practice in Tacoma. He spent a year as a part time doctor before opening “UP Ankle & Foot Specialists” in which he spent his time towards the community helping patients get back to normal life. Now Joining Foot and Ankle Surgical Associates, he is most excited to see the growth of integrated medicine and to join the amazing staff and patients that make up the FASA family. When Mark is not in clinic, he is enjoying a Seattle Mariners game, hiking, or mountain climbing. Fun fact: Mark has climbed 4 of Washington’s major peaks… including Mount Rainer so he understands the important of health ankles and feet!
